  • Wedding dress has been fully restored.

This beauty was aquired terribly yellowed and stained but has been completely revived by Betty Dowright back to her original glory. The results are stunning and she is absolutely as gorgeous as she was in the 1930's!

The revival of this dress included two minor lace repairs. Both less than an inch in length and completely seamlessly unnoticeable.

Lace is in incredible condition for age and still has beautiful forgiving movement and is not brittle.

She made a magnificent transition and turned out absolutely gorgeous.

Unfortunately I did not take before "Revival" photos.

Original zipper removed and reattached after cleaning.

This beauty was hard to age as the original zipper and buttons were more indicative of the 1930's.

The fabric seems more indicative of 1960's/1970's as it is a cotton synthetic blend but likely rayon.

The rayon on the orginal buttons was severly aged and unsalvagable.

The replacement buttons are hand covered by Betty Dowright including a signature Betty Dowright top blue accent button.

Dual tone reversible satin sash in blues is handmade and included as well as inspired by the two tones in the large brim vintage woven and hand painted hat.

See the "I Do" and "Flair" shop pages for availability on the 1930's/1940's era hat.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or any additional requested measurements.

Check "Flair" shop page for availability of Victorian Brooch and Western Boots toned similar to the hat.
